With more than 1500 m² of exhibition surface and more than 2000 presented objects in the "country life museum" ; you can discover the trades, skills and occupations in rural areas at the beginning of the 20th century.


The museum is a creation of the Steenwerck tourism Office and town. It's opening to the public since 1987.

You can enter museum free of charge, every sunday, from 1st may to 31 october, between 3pm and 7pm o'clock.

In the week, groups can see the sights of the museum freely with a cash lump sum in Euro. Groups must reserve the visit day before !
